The customer must provide accurate and complete information. If the customer gives incomplete or incorrect information, the price, schedule, or suitability of the service may need to change.

If access is delayed or impossible, waiting time, wasted visit fees, or rescheduling charges may apply.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due immediately upon completion of the service. We accept the payment methods that are confirmed at the time of booking or prior to attendance. In some cases, advance payment, part payment, or a card pre-authorisation may be required to secure the appointment, particularly for larger or repeat bookings, or where special equipment is needed. All prices are stated in pounds sterling and may be subject to VAT where applicable.

If the customer is invoiced, the invoice must be paid by the due date stated on it. Late payment may result in administration charges, recovery costs, or interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation where applicable. We reserve the right to suspend further work, cancel future appointments, or withhold non-essential documentation until outstanding sums are paid. Any discount or promotional rate applies only to the specific terms stated and may be withdrawn if payment terms are breached.

Prices, Additional Charges, and Estimates

Our prices may be quoted as fixed rates, room-based rates, item-based rates, or hourly rates depending on the nature of the work. If the condition of the carpets or fabrics is materially different on arrival, we may either revise the price or limit the service to what is reasonably covered by the agreed amount. If we have already attended the property and cannot carry out the work because access is unavailable, the premises are unsafe, payment terms have not been met, or the customer is otherwise unprepared, this will usually count as a missed appointment and may be charged accordingly. We may reschedule without penalty where a genuine emergency or unavoidable operational issue arises on our side, but we will seek to offer a new time where reasonably possible.

Service Standards and Customer Responsibilities

We will carry out the work using reasonable skill and care and in line with normal industry practice. Customers are responsible for telling us about any known risks, including hidden damage, loose seams, unstable flooring, previous stains, water ingress, infestation, or any treatments already applied to the textile. Cleaning results may vary depending on age, fibre type, wear, prior maintenance, and the nature of the marks present. We do not guarantee the removal of every stain, especially where the cause is permanent or where prior contamination has altered the fabric.

The customer should allow carpets and fabrics adequate drying time after treatment. Drying times are estimates only and may vary depending on ventilation, humidity, pile depth, underlay, and weather conditions. We are not liable for inconvenience caused by normal drying times, provided the service was performed with reasonable care. Any aftercare advice is given in good faith and should be followed to reduce the risk of re-soiling or damage.

Liability and Limitations

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss arising from matters outside our reasonable control. We are also not responsible for pre-existing defects, hidden damage, deterioration from age, or outcomes caused by the customer’s failure to provide accurate information.

If damage is caused by our negligence, our liability will ordinarily be limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement, taking into account age, condition, and fair wear and tear. We may at our option arrange repair, cleaning touch-up, or compensation up to the amount reasonably necessary to remedy the issue. The customer must notify us of any claim within a reasonable time after the event and must give us an opportunity to inspect the alleged damage before any third-party repair is arranged.

Waste Regulations, Chemicals, and Environmental Compliance

Waste water, removed soil, contaminated debris, used materials, and any disposed consumables will be handled in a lawful and responsible manner. We will use cleaning products and processes that are suitable for the intended surface where reasonably possible. Some products may contain detergents, solvents, or disinfecting agents, and the customer should advise us of any sensitivities, allergies, or restrictions before the work begins. We reserve the right to refuse to use a product if we believe it could create an unreasonable environmental, safety, or material risk. Empty containers and packaging will be removed or managed in accordance with normal waste handling practice.

Where the service generates wastewater or residue, we will dispose of it in a lawful way consistent with environmental standards and site conditions. The customer must not interfere with any disposal arrangements we reasonably make to remain compliant. If the site has special disposal rules, such as managed premises or shared buildings, the customer must disclose these in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Complaints, Disputes, and Governing Law

If you are unhappy with any part of the service, you should notify us as soon as reasonably practicable so the matter can be reviewed. We may ask for photographs, access to the area, or additional information to understand the issue. We will consider any complaint fairly and in good faith, and where appropriate we may return to inspect or rework the affected area. Any attempt to carry out third-party remedies before giving us the opportunity to investigate may affect the outcome of a claim.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the customer is a consumer in another part of the UK and applicable law requires otherwise. If any dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the parties may use the usual legal remedies available under English law.

General Provisions

Any waiver of a right under these terms must be confirmed in writing and will apply only to the specific situation described. If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later. No person other than the customer and us has any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce these terms unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. These terms form the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the service, subject to any written variation we both agree.
